Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Electrical Technician for Sparrows Pt Cement Plant MD to troubleshoot, calibrate, repair and maintain plant electrical, instrumentation and electronic equipment. You’ll complete projects assigned by the electrical supervisor or department manager.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in electrical field within cement manufacturing or related industries, with on-call duties to support 24/7 operations. Emphasis on safety and adherence to PPE protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Electrical Technology specified.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical field in cement manufacturing or related industry.
• Must be able to meet on-call responsibilities and 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repair, preventive maintenance and emergency call-out tasks on plant electrical equipment.
• Maintain code regulations, craftsmanship, quality and professionalism.
• Recommend modifications to PMR job plans as needed.
• Maintain reliability and integrity of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot concerns to maximize productivity; document work orders and problem-solving efforts.
