Job summary

Hoover Architectural Solutions (HAS) in Eastman, GA seeks an EHS Coordinator to maintain environmental and safety compliance at the HAS plant. The role includes onboarding and training, with a split 50% plant floor and 50% office duties, reporting to the Director of Operations.

The position requires at least one year in EHS, OSHA-related certifications within six months, and strong MS Office and communication skills. Compensation ranges $55k–$65k annually and includes a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field.
• Ability to obtain within six months one of the following certifications: OSHA 30-Hour GI/Construction, ASP, CSHO, OSHA Outreach Trainer (if applicable).
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance of all safety and environmental programs.
• Lead EHS training programs plant-wide and assess training needs.
• Conduct daily GEMBA walks and safety program audits; attend pre-shift meetings.
• Lead EHS orientation and hands-on training; monitor new hires for first 45 days.
