Job summary

Hoover Architectural Solutions (HAS), Eastman, GA, is hiring an EHS Coordinator to maintain environmental and safety compliance at the HAS plant. You will lead proactive programs and incident investigations, and oversee onboarding and training.

This 50/50 role is office and plant floor based, requires OSHA knowledge and strong MS Office skills. Reports to the Director of Operations; travel 0-10%; hourly position with salary range $55,000-$65,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field.
• OSHA regulations knowledge and safe work practices.
• Ability to obtain safety certifications within six months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and environmental program compliance.
• Lead EHS training programs plant-wide.
• Conduct GEMBA walks, program audits, and pre-shift safety meetings.
• Lead EHS orientation and hands-on training with new hires.
• Maintain training records and OSHA documentation.
• Co-lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop and support the Plant Safety Committee.
• Maintain safety postings and regulatory documentation.
• Support corporate EHS with timely environmental reporting.
