Job summary

HarbisonWalker International seeks a Plant Environmental Health and Safety Administrator III to lead safety initiatives at the Michigan facility and ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations.

The role requires coordinating safety teams, conducting audits, and driving incident investigations while promoting a strong safety culture and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–6 years of industrial/manufacturing safety experience.
• Requires BS degree in safety/environmental or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations and workers' compensation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility compliance with safety, health, environment regulations and policies.
• Conduct audits, inspections and employee engagements for compliance verification.
• Advise facilities on workers’ compensation/incident investigation issues.
• Assist environmental engineers with data for reporting and permitting.
• Promote safety awareness and lead monthly safety training activities.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring and medical surveillance programs.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and enter data into tracking software.
