Job summary

Projekts Staffing and Consulting seeks an Evolutive General Plant Manager for a leading automotive equipment manufacturer. You will lead a plant, drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery, and build a high-performing team across shifts.

As growth progresses, you will expand to regional responsibility across Mexico/US, oversee due diligence, integration plans, and commercial leverage with key accounts, shaping a footprint for future leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as Plant Manager or Operations Director in automotive, Tier 1/2 supplier.
• Engineering degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Build and coach the management team and supervisors.
• Drive continuous improvement (OEE, scrap rate, conversion cost, lead time) and ensure IATF 16949 and EHS compliance.
• Interface with customers and defend site in program reviews and sourcing decisions.
• Lead regional expansion post-acquisition integration and cross-site standardization.
• Consolidate customer portfolios and develop regional account strategies.
