Job summary

Greven Executive Search is seeking a Plant Director for a large North Carolina facility. You will lead a 500+ person operation with high-speed production and packaging lines, shaping strategy and coaching leaders to execute the plan.

You will champion TPM/Lean Continuous Improvement, drive operational excellence, and build a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a 500+ person plant with high-speed production and packaging lines.
• Track record applying TPM, Lean or Continuous Improvement programs to deliver results.
• Ability to create a plant vision, develop a roadmap, and hold leaders accountable.

Responsibilities

• Serve on-floor leader, addressing frontline problems and prioritizing opportunities.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements across the plant.
• Develop talent, processes, and systems to scale operations and sustain gains.

Job description

We have been retained to fill a Plant Director role in a large food and beverage facility in North Carolina.

This person will have responsibility for a 500+ person plant with a complex group of products and high-speed production and packaging lines.

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Servant leadership style with a coaching and mentoring approach
• History of developing people, process, and systems
• Track record of utilizing TPM, Lean or similar Continuous Improvement Programs to achieve results
• Ability to create a vision for the plant, a road map to get there, and hold people accountable
• Hands-on out on the floor leader who understands the problems of the people and helps leaders prioritize their opportunities
