Job summary

You will participate in the design and preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, and PD&P drawings, originate basic deliverables, verify pipe configurations, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements across diverse assignments in

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months.
• Eligible for the University Hire Program (typically hired within 12 months of graduation).
• Ability and willingness to relocate and travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Master of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering from an accredited college or university within the past twelve (12) months.
• Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing site/building general arrangements.
• Generating structural calculations and drawings for piping and pipe supports.
• Generating pipe stress analysis calculations for ASME code compliance.
• Working in the 3D model to develop designs for piping, equipment, HVAC, or pipe supports.
• Examining and analyzing pipe configurations for ANSI/ASME code compliance.
• Optimizing facility layout based on piping and instrument diagrams, client requirements, current technology, and operational and maintenance requirements.
• Interfacing with other engineering disciplines, construction, startup, and vendors during the development of facility design.
