Job summary

Brownswood Nursery on Johns Island is seeking a delivery-focused team member to transport plants across the Charleston area. The role involves loading and unloading, assisting customers, and supporting the Garden Center team as needed.

Candidates should be at least 25 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Training in plant knowledge will be provided to help you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid regular driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Ability to safely drive and back an 18-foot box truck with a liftgate.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Willing to learn plant knowledge; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plants to customers throughout the Charleston area.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Provide friendly, professional service and communicate with clients.
• Support Garden Center team when not on deliveries and stay productive.
• Learn to identify plants suited to the region during training.
