Job summary

Brownswood Nursery & Landscape is seeking a Landscape Installer to join our Charleston-area team on a full-time basis. The role involves planting trees and shrubs, preparing beds, mulching, and supporting installation crews in outdoor environments. This is an entry-level opportunity with room for growth and hands-on horticultural learning.

We value a strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive team attitude. Training is provided; experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planting trees, shrubs, and other landscape plants using proper planting techniques.
• Prepare landscape beds, dig holes, spread soil and mulch, and assist with sod installation.
• Load, unload, and move plants, tools, and materials safely.
• Support irrigation and other landscape installation tasks as directed by your crew leader.
• Use and care for tools and equipment safely, following training and company procedures.
• Keep job sites, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized while protecting clients’ property.

Full-Time

Monday–Friday | $18–$22 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

What You’ll Do:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds using safe lifting practices and assistance as needed.

• Plant knowledge, landscape experience, or experience operating tractors with trailers is a plus; training is available.
