Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Plant Engineer for our Charlotte, NC operations. You will collaborate with plant management and the VP of Engineering to drive safety, compliance, quality, and cost efficiency across the production floor.

The role requires 5+ years in food/manufacturing, strong AutoCAD skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Maximo CMMS. You will lead maintenance projects and manage multi-year capital budgets on site.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in food or manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel to vendors, seminars, other plants and to the corporate office for periodic technical strategy meetings and capital planning sessions.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for drawings, dimensioning and updating when equipment is installed or moved.
