Doble Engineering Company in Accident, MD is seeking a Plant Accounting Manager to lead cost and inventory accounting at our Accident facility. You will partner with plant and finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and actionable financial analysis to support operations and strategy.

The role oversees standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate Finance

Formación

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, COGS analysis and variance analysis.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• ERP experience: Dynamics 365/Business Central or SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Lead plant and manufacturing accounting activities including inventory valuation and cost analysis.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close with timely financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing performance via variances in labor, materials, overhead.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and control processes, including counts.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement to improve cost visibility.
• Support internal controls and policy compliance across plant finance.
