Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a plant-level Cost Accountant to develop and monitor plant costs, maintain SAP standard costs, and perform variance analyses of materials and labor. The role participates in month-end close and forecasts, budgeting, CAPEX reviews, and new product costing.

The position supports plant and business unit managers with financial reporting, cost-saving initiatives, and KPI tracking to ensure alignment with budget and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of three years' experience with Manufacturing/Cost Accounting in an industrial sector, preferably high-volume manufacturing.
• Would prefer food or pharma industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop standard costs and update/create SAP bill of materials and routings.
• Reconcile labor hours between SAP and payroll on a weekly basis.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for inventory-related adjustments.
• Assist production management with continuous improvement projects and track progress.
