Job summary

Allura USA, a member of the Elementia family, seeks a Plant Controller to lead accounting and financial controls for the Roaring River fiber cement siding plant. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement, with a Houston-based option and travel to Roaring River as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a finance/accounting degree and 5+ years of experience, with SAP and Excel expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work safely in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration and at least five years of accounting or related experience.
• Experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Sound knowledge of accounting and business principles, financial controls, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely at the plant and wear required personal protective equipment.
• If based in Houston, ability to travel to the Roaring River plant at least 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant accounting, financial reporting, forecasts, budgets, and analysis; explain results, trends, and risks to leadership.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance with company standards across plant transactions and processes.
• Develop profit and loss measures and key performance indicators to support operational and financial decisions.
• Partner with plant leadership on business planning, process improvements, and capital expenditure requests and controls.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, and provide information for internal and external audits at the Roaring River facility.
• Support special projects and help resolve financial or payment issues as needed.
