Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC seeks a Plant Controller to direct the accounting functions for a manufacturing plant. You will plan, organize, and lead accounting, ensuring reports reflect true financial performance and safeguarding assets.

Responsibilities include payroll, AP, production and labor reporting, month-end closing, and budgeting. Proven supervisory experience and CPA/CMA preferred are required for impact and growth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 4–6 years of supervisory experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Proficient in Oracle and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll, AP, customer billings, production and labor reporting.
• Manage month-end financial reporting and budgeting processes.
• Monitor plant performance against budget and analyze variances.
• Develop procedures for inventories and asset control.
• Lead staff development and continuous improvement initiatives.
