Yancey Bros. Co is seeking a Plant Controller for its manufacturing division. You will oversee all accounting functions, lead the plant accounting team, and deliver accurate financial reporting and cost analysis to drive profitability. Strong manufacturing costing and ERP experience required, with leadership and internal control expertise.

Ideal candidates have a CPA/CMA and 10+ years in manufacturing accounting, with budgeting, variance analysis, and operational partnership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory costing, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Ability to lead and develop accounting staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all accounting functions for the manufacturing division, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for plant operations.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits related to plant operations.
• Lead standard cost systems and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Partner with operations to drive profitability, cost control, and operational performance.
• Manage a small team of plant accountants and cost accountants.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
