Job summary

CF Industries Inc. is seeking a Plant Controller in the United States to lead accounting functions for the plant, partner with the Plant General Manager, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

You will manage budgeting, cost analysis, fixed assets, and audit activities while upholding internal controls and process improvements. You will supervise staff and collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to track projects, perform accruals, and drive cost efficiencies across the plant.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related.
• 10+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing accounting.
• Experience at manufacturing plants with high level of complexity including capital projects and supporting multiple departments.
• Proficiency with PC tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting to Corporate and local management.
• Supervise professional accounting and clerical staff.
• Manage local capital and maintenance spending reporting.
• Handle monthly inventory costing and reconcile inventories.
• Oversee accounts payable and monthly aging analysis.
• Support audits and prepare cost statements and management exhibits.
