Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years general accounting in manufacturing.
• 6–12 years experience in financial information analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and other financial reporting software.
• Independence and strong financial leadership for the plant.
• Working knowledge of business principles, legal practices, accounting, budgeting, and computer information systems.
• Ability to handle and safeguard confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Cost Accounting system for the plant and reconciles variances.
• Maintains General Ledger and ensures adherence to accounting policies.
• Performs subledger reconciliations and records company transactions in GAAP compliance.
• Prepares and develops operating budgets and forecasts, and maintains planning and control procedures.
• Directs financial affairs of the facility with Division support and prepares financial analyses for management.
• Leads weekly and monthly sales forecasting for the plant.
• Maintains fixed asset and capital spending reporting system.
