Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a Plant Controller for its Rigby, Idaho potato plant. The role leads the site’s financial planning, accounting, reporting, controls, and cost management activities in partnership with Operations and site leadership.

The ideal candidate will provide financial leadership for month-end close, forecasting, OPP development, standard costing, and capital project analysis while driving continuous improvement in profitability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years in plant accounting, cost accounting, financial planning, or manufacturing finance preferred.
• Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, BOM maintenance, and standard costing required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, forecasting, and OPP development for the plant.
• Manage internal controls, SOX compliance, and cost control initiatives.
• Oversee BOM maintenance, standard costing, and product costing activities.
• Prepare financial reporting packages, journal entries, and reconciliations.
