Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; 5+ years professional accounting experience.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
• Knowledge of accounting software, inventory and manufacturing software; MS Office, especially Excel.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting concepts; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills; attention to detail and organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting support to the plant including cost accounting, inventory control, accounts payable, payroll, billing and report preparation.
• Supervise maintenance of manufacturing, inventory, and finished goods ledgers and cost accounting activities.
• Compile and analyze operating performance reports; prepare unusual-item analyses.
• Set standards for accounting work and ensure compliance with these standards; supervise payroll processing.
• Supervise preparation of shipping documents and production inventory accounting; ensure SOX compliance.
• Lead internal order administration and maintain GAAP adherence; review general ledger accounts monthly.
• Foster teamwork with plant management and cross-functional departments to improve processes.
