Job summary

CFS in Darien, WI, is seeking a Plant Controller to lead all finance and accounting activities for its Wisconsin manufacturing facilities, including month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, and inventory management.

You will partner with Operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, productivity, and key KPIs, while maintaining robust SOX controls and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Manufacturing Plant Controller experience.
• Strong leadership and cost accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting activities for the Wisconsin manufacturing facilities, including month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, and inventory.
• Partner with Operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, productivity, and operational KPIs.
• Oversee standard costing, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, production budgeting, and forecasting.
• Maintain and strengthen SOX internal controls while ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Lead, develop, and support a team of approximately six accounting professionals.

Salary: $145,000-$170,000 + 25% Short-Term Incentive + 20% Long-Term Incentive

Location: Darien, WI

Work Schedule: Hybrid - 1 day per week from home
