Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead accounting operations across North America from Prattville, AL. This on-site role partners with executive leadership to drive business performance, manage a high-performing finance team, and ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA with 7+ years of accounting/finance and 5+ years in leadership, plus 3+ years in manufacturing or distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• CPA certification is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or distribution experience.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Strong Excel, ERP and financial planning systems experience.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting operations across the US, Canada and Mexico.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations and corporate reporting requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
• Lead external audits and coordinate internal audit activities.
• Approve financial workflows, banking activities and expenditure requests.
• Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Champion adoption of Microsoft 365 and financial technology tools.
