Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking an experienced PlantController to lead accounting operations for North America in Prattville, AL. This on-site role partners with executive leadership to drive performance and implement financial strategy.

The ideal candidate has CPA, 7+ years of accounting/finance, 5+ years of leadership, and 3+ years in manufacturing or distribution, with strong US GAAP mastery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 7+ years progressive accounting/finance experience; 5+ years leadership.
• 3+ years manufacturing or distribution experience.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Strong Excel, ERP and financial planning systems experience.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting across US, Canada and Mexico.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes per US GAAP.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations and corporate reporting requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
• Lead external audits and coordinate internal audit activities.
• Approve financial workflows, banking activities and expenditure requests.
• Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Champion adoption of Microsoft 365 and financial technology tools.

The PlantController will oversee accounting operations across North America, lead a high-performing finance team and ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting strategic business initiatives.
