Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Plant Controller. This is a pivotal role in our Manufacturing Finance department, where you’ll be responsible for the financial management of our manufacturing plant. You will be working closely with the plant management team and corporate finance team to drive financial performance and operational excellence. This role will offer you the opportunity to directly impact the financial success of our manufacturing operations while gaining valuable experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.


2. Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports, highlighting key trends and potential risks.


3. Conducting detailed financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.


4. Developing and managing the plant's annual budget, including forecasting future financial performance.


5. Collaborating with plant management to develop and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives.


6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.


7. Providing financial guidance and support to plant management, including decision-making support for capital investments, pricing, and cost analysis.


8. Managing and mentoring a team of finance professionals.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or a professional certification such as CMA or CPA is a plus.


2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.


3. Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes.


4. Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly advanced in Excel.


5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.


6. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.


7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-finance professionals.


8. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.


9. Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
