Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Plant Controller to partner with operations leadership and drive financial performance across a large production facility. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to plant leadership and strong opportunities for long-term career growth.

Key responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and variance analysis; monitoring KPIs; and ensuring GAAP compliant controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant controllership experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
• Experience partnering with operations leaders in a plant environment.

• Analyze labor, material, and manufacturing cost variances

Preferred Experience:

• Plant Controller, Plant Finance Manager, or Cost Accounting background
• Standard costing and inventory accounting experience
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JDE, OneStream, or similar)
• Manufacturing experience within industrial, consumer products, building products, packaging, or related industries
