Job summary

Employbridge partners with a growing manufacturing company in Coon Rapids, MN to recruit a hands-on Controller who will lead accounting, finance, and HR administration. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, payroll, and compliance while partnering with leadership to support growth and efficiency.

The role also manages HR administration via a third party provider, ensures internal controls, and drives process improvements to boost profitability and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• CPA or prior Controller experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and finance functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Manage payroll, employee benefits administration, HR compliance, onboarding/offboarding, and personnel records with the third party HR service provider.
• Maintain internal controls, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Partner with leadership to drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and strategic business decisions.
• Serve as a key resource for both financial and employee-related matters across the organization.
