Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Plant Controller to drive plant-level financial strategy and operational cost optimization at a food manufacturing facility. This role reports to senior leadership and encompasses ownership of P&L, inventory controls, and ERP utilization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting (or 7+ years of relevant experience) and 2+ years in plant-controlling, with strong Excel and manufacturing accounting exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of Plant Controller experience.
• Experience with inventory and manufacturing accounting preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant budgets including labor, materials, and operational costs.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead month-end close and report financial results to leadership.
• Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accuracy of adjustments.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities across all cost drivers.
• Maintain internal controls and support ERP system utilization.
