RemX | The Workforce Experts in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Finance Lead to drive financial performance for our plant operations. You will partner with operations leadership to improve margins, manage the monthly close, and provide actionable insights from variance analyses.

You will develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans, monitor costing and production metrics, and support capital investments. Strong Excel and ERP experience required; manufacturing finance background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of finance/accounting experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis knowledge.
• Experience influencing decisions with financial insights.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Travel Requirement: Must be able to commute regularly between Atlanta and Marietta, GA locations

Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance lead supporting plant operations, providing insight into financial performance and key business drivers
• Partner with operations leadership to drive cost efficiency, improve margins, and support strategic initiatives
• Oversee monthly close activities, including preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial results
• Analyze manufacturing variances, including labor, overhead, and materials, and provide actionable recommendations
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range financial plans for plant operations
• Monitor inventory, standard costing, and production metrics to ensure accuracy and financial control
• Support capital planning processes, including evaluation of investments and return analyses
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and operations teams to support business objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong preference for manufacturing or plant-based environments
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and variance analysis
• Experience supporting operational leaders and influencing decision-making through financial insights
• Proficiency in financial systems/ERP platforms and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
