Job summary

Independence TX LLC in Strasburg, OH seeks a calm, dependable control room operator with mining/processing plant experience to monitor and optimize production. You will work with DCS/SCADA/PLC, adjust settings, and respond to alarms to maintain quality and efficiency.

You will log data, coordinate with field operators and maintenance, and cover rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Company-paid medical, dental & vision, 401(k) match, and a monthly production bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of how processing equipment operates.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage several systems at once.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and clear communication by radio and in person.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor plant equipment through DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Adjust process settings to keep production and product quality on spec.
• Watch alarms, trends, and camera feeds, and respond quickly to upsets.
• Work with field operators and maintenance to troubleshoot problems.
• Log production data and downtime, and keep shift leads informed.
