Job summary

R.A. Miller Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to keep plant premises clean and orderly, supporting daily operations. Responsibilities include trash disposal, break room upkeep, and basic maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliable attendance, and a negative drug screen. Candidates must read and follow written instructions and cooperate with coworkers while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Reliable/excellent attendance record.
• Adherence to personal protection requirements (safety glasses, etc).
• Adherence to company general policies and quality procedures.
• Able to work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Receive and follow work instructions from Lead Person or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Dispose of all trash in production areas daily in appropriate receptacles.
• Maintain break area in clean and sanitary conditions on daily basis including refrigerators, sinks, microwaves and eating tables.
• Clean and polish lunchroom floors per desired schedule, using brooms, mops & floor scrubber.
• Sweeping/mopping stairs, floor mats, etc.
• Dusting building columns, rails, lunchroom computer stations, etc.
• Set up tables and chairs for meetings.
• Various general maintenance tasks as directed.
