Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Plant Buyer for the Franklin, IN facility to manage indirect spend, MRO, and plant services.

You’ll ensure material availability, cost control, and strong supplier partnerships to support safe, reliable plant operations. Two to five years in purchasing or procurement in a manufacturing setting is preferred; strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing indirect materials and services within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procure-to-pay processes and supplier management.
• Adheres to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant indirect spend including MRO parts, tools, safety supplies, and services.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and storeroom staff to meet needs.
• Process requisitions and purchase orders according to policies and controls.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate terms and delivery.
• Coordinate plant services, equipment servicing, and contractor work.
• Maintain supplier relationships and address delivery, pricing, quality issues.
• Monitor open orders, lead times, and communicate potential disruptions.
• Analyze spending data for cost savings and process improvements.
• Resolve invoicing and pricing discrepancies with accounts payable.
• Leverage national agreements and procurement initiatives for plant needs.
