Ever-Green Energy is seeking a team member responsible for monitoring the St. Paul Plant, performing equipment rounds, and operational duties under the supervision of the District Manager or their delegate. All tasks must be conducted safely and efficiently, complying with safety regulations, company policies, and standards. Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma with strong technical knowledge related to high-pressure steam heating plants or boilers.
• Second Class B Minnesota Boiler Engineer’s License.
• Ability to coordinate operations and maintenance independently and proactively.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to train others.
• Familiarity with boiler and chiller equipment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and plant controls.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/blueprints.

Additional Requirements:

• Technical degree.
• At least three years of experience in a high-pressure steam plant or boiler operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate high-pressure boilers and plant equipment to supply steam and compressed air safely and efficiently.
2. Inspect and adjust pumps, turbines, and associated equipment.
3. Conduct boiler and water treatment analyses, making necessary adjustments.
4. Perform minor repairs and maintenance to prevent shutdowns.
5. Perform building maintenance and cleaning to ensure safety.
6. Train new Senior Operating Engineers on policies and procedures.

Secondary Job Functions:

1. Perform other operational tasks as needed to maintain plant continuity.
2. Assist with related functions as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Rotation may involve 8-12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays. Overtime may be voluntary or mandatory, with scheduled overtime included in shift planning.

Physical Demands:

Requires climbing, communicating, hearing, visual acuity, manual manipulation, lifting up to 50 lbs., and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.

Work Environment:

Industrial setting with high temperatures, limited outdoor rounds, and confined spaces. PPE is provided.

Compensation and Benefits:

Union position, hourly pay at $35.96, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and more. PPE is provided.
