Job summary

Round the Bend Farm (RTB) in South Dartmouth, MA, is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join its mission-driven kitchen. You’ll work with the Executive Chef and Kitchen Director to keep the commercial kitchen running smoothly, safely, and efficiently while supporting events and our Manifest Love Food Truck.

Responsibilities include assisting with harvesting, food prep, and menu development, plus helping with event setup and breakdown. Evening hours occur and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of kitchen-related work experience required.
• Cook in a medium-to-high-volume environment preferred; culinary education a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and manage kitchen sanitation practices.
• Evening and weekend availability required on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with harvesting, preparing, processing, organizing, and storing foods.
• Support menu development and recipe preparation with Executive Chef & Kitchen Director.
• Help with set-up and break-down duties for events and the Manifest Love Food Truck.
• Maintain clean, safe spaces in the kitchen and support on-farm events.
