Job summary

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve reliability, safety, and efficiency across plant processes. The role requires hands-on project management, PLC/automation expertise, knowledge of electrical schematics, and experience with industrial robotics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; engineering tech acceptable.
• 3+ years in electrical project management, equipment design, or automation.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.
• Export-controlled data restrictions apply to this role.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical scope of process improvement, capital expansion, and obsolescence mitigation projects.
• Coordinate all project phases from concept to start-up and closure.
• Assist with equipment/process issues from an engineering perspective to improve reliability.
• Maintain records for automation programs and changes.
• Propose and execute improvements to automation systems and processes.
• Prioritize safety and EHS compliance for facilities equipment and processes.
• Oversee contractor work and compliance with policies.
• Provide engineered electrical solutions and procurement support for production equipment.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and manuals.
• Determine key process characteristics within robotic programs and monitor inputs.
• Utilize offline programming to minimize downtime and support new products.
• Collaborate with maintenance, mechanical, process, and safety engineers.
• Provide field engineering and troubleshooting support to operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Automation Lead.
