Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Torrance is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Plant Engineering team. You will maintain electrical systems for fabrication processes from wax injection to final finishing, upgrading equipment and supporting line changes.

The role involves coordinating with vendors, contractors, and trades, and applying TPM and continuous improvement across projects. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and at least 3 years’ electrical/programming experience in manufacturing, with

Qualifications

BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years electrical/programming experience in manufacturing.
U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Maintain facility and equipment from wax injection through finishing and NDI testing.
Develop and modify Wonderware/Ignition HMIs and control systems.
Coordinate electrical system projects, design, costing and execution with vendors.
Support plant rearrangements and procuring/installing new equipment.
Provide engineering support for internal and external projects.
Apply TPM and continuous improvement to equipment needs.
Troubleshoot PLCs and SCADA, including Allen Bradley and Rockwell tools.
Utilize AutoCAD electrical or SolidWorks on electrical prints.
