Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Plant Associate I in Opelika, AL to support sorting and placement of recyclable materials along the conveyor line. You will perform quick identification and removal of non-conforming items, maintain a clean work area, and help with equipment cleanup at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stand at a station along a conveyor belt performing quality control on mixed recyclables.

• Perform general warehouse cleanup at the end of each shift.
• Assist with processing equipment cleanup at shift end.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm preferred.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Previous experience in an industrial recycling facility preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms

• Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long period of time
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud
