Job summary

Cabot Corporation in the United States seeks an experienced administrative professional to provide full‑range support to a function or individuals. You will handle data entry, filing, document formatting, and ordering of office and lab supplies.

You will coordinate facility services, schedule meetings, and assist with COAs, batch documentation, and production data via ERP and winlims/JDE. Strong English communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education required; post-secondary training (certificate program) preferred.
  • 2–4 years administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of office policies and procedures.
  • Ability to operate office equipment and software packages.

Your Role at Cabot:

Will provide full range of administrative support to specific individuals AND/OR may perform general clerical/administrative work within a particular function.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Supports facility staff with various administrative work
  • Data entry and filing and printing/copying
  • Document formatting and editing
  • Office, Lab & Operational supplies ordering and maintenance
  • Facility services coordination and planning – vending/uniforms, etc
  • Meeting scheduling and support
  • General supplies – Orders and maintains minimum stocking levels
  • Data entry, validation, and release to Production [SQCpack and JDE]
  • File work orders and support batch documentation
  • Partner with Cabot Analytical as needed on external and supplemental testing
  • Use plant ERP, lab software (winlims) and databases to transact materials
  • Support shipping & receiving and quality teams by coordinating pre-shipment and generation of product certificate of analysis (COAs)
What You’ll Bring to Cabot:
  • Strong knowledge of company/function/business policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in the use of office equipment and related software packages, including spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to research data on Internet.
  • Speaking ability in English and/or other language(s) may be required depending on location.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with internal managers and employees at all levels as well as outside parties.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to keep track of multiple details and establish priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.

Secondary education required; post‑secondary training (certificate program) preferred. 2 to 4 years administrative experience preferred. We ask that you have been in your current position for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible to apply for other internal positions.
