Job summary

Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Plant Accounting Manager to maintain the general ledger, close monthly books, forecast and budget, and manage inventory control. You will deliver insightful cost analyses to plant leadership and collaborate with headquarters to drive operational excellence.

The role requires a CMA/CPA-preferred accounting background with 5+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency in Excel and SAP ERP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word); SAP ERP experience preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels
• High attention to detail with accuracy
• Ability to navigate unstructured problems independently
• Self-starter with minimal direction in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Direct the implementation of accounting policies to ensure SOX compliance
• Manage month-end close, financial reporting and variance analysis
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and reporting for labor, overhead, scrap, and capital with variance analysis
• Collaborate with operations to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor overhead spending, labor efficiency and cost drivers
• Deliver timely financial reports to plant management and headquarters
• Coordinate cycle-count and inventory control programs and reconciliations with corporate standards
