Job summary

Prince Metal Stampings USA, Inc. in Gadsden, AL seeks an Accountant to support plant finance in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will prepare, record, verify, analyze and reconcile transactions, and close monthly statements with supervisory duties over AR, AP, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with Plex and UKG software a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical skills.
• Confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily/weekly/monthly accounting duties including preparation of weekly cost reports and financial statements.
• Supervising accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Process weekly payroll and address tax withholdings, direct deposits and benefits.
• Review department processes to ensure efficiency and streamlined tasks.
• Support plant management with budgeting reports on labor, MRO costs, and inventory.
• Assist with W-2 and annual inventory processes.
