Job summary

Jobtailor in Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance technician to support continuous line production and oversee daily forklift operation. You will maintain and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and monitor plant systems to ensure smooth operations.

Independent work in a plant/warehouse setting, with schedule flexibility including nights and weekends, while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to read, write, and understand the local language
• Possess a valid forklift driver's license
• Functional competence with machining, hydraulic and pneumatic pumps; HVAC; pipefitting; welding and assembly; electrical controls diagnostics; and mold and die maintenance (preferred)
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment properly at all times
• Must be able and willing to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Must undergo periodic blood tests to measure lead levels
• Must be able to work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying working conditions
• Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos occasionally
• Must be able to stand for long periods
