Job summary

MicroTech is seeking a Plans & Programs resource for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The contractor will provide requirements, plans, agreements, and project management support for Enterprise and AOC networks and systems.

Responsibilities include daily management of communications and IT requirements, gathering end-user requirements, coordinating project activities, and developing PMPs and PSAs. Active Secret clearance or above is required.

Qualifications

  • 6 years’ experience in IT or related Project Management field with certification
  • 3 years’ experience in IT or related Project Management field with CAPM or equivalent certification
  • Active Secret clearance or above

Responsibilities

  • Provide requirements, plans, agreements, and project management support for Enterprise and AOC networks and systems.
  • Manage daily communications and IT requirements development and processing and project management tasks.
  • Gather, submit, process, and coordinate end-user requirements for communications and IT capabilities and services; track status to completion.
  • Assist Government to plan, initiate, and manage communications and IT projects; coordinate work of technical staff; liaison between business and technical aspects.
  • Develop and maintain Project Management Plans (PMPs) and process Project Support Agreements (PSAs), project packages, design packages, test plans and related documentation.
  • Assist lifecycle sustainment and logistics support planning to identify resources, training, parts, warranty and license management requirements.
  • Evaluate organizational requirements/project management processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with plans management activities including receiving, logging, safeguarding, distributing, reviewing and maintaining plans.
  • Assist FAACs with support agreement management activities (MOUs, MOAs, SLA, etc.).
  • Assist with exercise and inspection support planning and coordination of capabilities and technical support.
  • Develop and submit recurring or ad hoc Project Status reports as requested by the government.

Job description

Overview

MicroTech is seeking a Plans & Programs resource for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The CAOC team utilizes the Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client solution for its multi-level security computing and networking environment.

Responsibilities

The contractor shall provide requirements, plans, agreements, and project management support services for Enterprise and AOC networks and systems. The contractor shall:

  • Perform daily management of communications and IT requirements development and processing and project management tasks.
  • Gather, submit, process, and coordinate end user requirements for communications and IT capabilities and services; and track and monitor status to completion.
  • Assist the Government to plan, initiate, and manage communications and IT projects; coordinating work of technical staff, and serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Assist with all aspects of project management with final approvals through Military/ Civilian personnel, facility management, or base civil engineers to include coordinating resources, assigning responsibilities, and establishing deadlines/milestones. Monitor progress to ensure targets are met and provide status to unit leadership.
  • Assist with the Development, maintenance and provide comprehensive Project Management Plans (PMPs) and process Project Support Agreements (PSAs), project packages, design packages, test plans and other related project documentation for each project incorporating recognized best practices and key performance metrics to guide tasks and measure project success.
  • Assist lifecycle sustainment and logistics support planning to identify human resources, training, parts, and warranty and license management requirements to ensure the supportability of installed systems/infrastructure.
  • Assist with the evaluation of organizational requirements/project management processes and workflows; and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist with plans management activities to include receiving, logging, safeguarding, distributing, reviewing and updating and maintaining plans (e.g., Operational Plans (OPLANs), Concept Plans (CONPLANs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), Supporting Plans, etc.), and maintaining unit plans files.
  • Assist unit Functional Area Agreements Coordinators (FAACs) with support agreement management activities to include drafting, reviewing, processing, filing and maintaining agreements (e.g., Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), Service Level Agreements (SLA), etc.).
  • Assist with exercise and inspection support planning to include attending meetings, gathering end-user requirements, evaluating resource requirements and availability, and coordinating the delivery of the required capabilities and technical support.
  • Assist with the Development and submission of recurring or ad hoc Project Status as requested by the government.
Qualifications
  • 6 years’ experience in IT or related Project Management field, and Project+ or equivalent certification; or
  • 3 years’ experience in IT, or related Project Management field, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent certification
  • Active Secret clearance or above
