Job summary

MicroTech is seeking a C2 Systems Administration Support for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The CAOC team provides technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for chat suite server clients and applications.

The candidate will supplement government personnel to support day-to-day management, operation, maintenance and administration of communications and IT systems in production, development, exercise and training

Qualifications

• 2+ years performing administrative maintenance at an AOC, SPO, or equivalent organization.
• DoD 8140 DCWF 451, Intermediate Level; and
• NSCA-HC, CCNA Data Center, VCA, or MCSA or equivalent certification.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks
• install, patch, upgrade, tune, optimize and repair hardware and software to maintain optimal performance
• O&M of equipment and/or systems up to and including their demarcation points, and coordinate with external entities in troubleshooting
• update and maintain as-built systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams and documentation, and publish semi-annually
• develop and submit a C2 Systems Administration Monthly Status Report

MicroTech is seeking a C2 Systems Administration Support - Other C2 Systems Applications for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The CAOC team provides technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for chat suite server clients and applications.

Responsibilities

The candidate shall supplement government technical personnel to support the day-to-day management, operation, maintenance and administration of communications and IT systems and services in production, development, exercise and training environments. Preventive, remedial, and corrective maintenance shall be performed to ensure equipment and/or systems are in full operating condition as described by the equipment manufacturer without degradation of service. Equipment, regardless of whether it is providing service at any time, shall be maintained as if it were providing service.

• perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks
• install, patch, upgrade, tune, optimize and repair hardware and software (including operating systems, applications and databases) to maintain optimal performance.
• O&M of equipment and/or systems up to and including their demarcation points, and shall coordinate with, and assist external entities (other governmental agencies or contractors) in troubleshooting beyond their demarcation point during outages and troubleshooting, as required.
• update and maintain as-built systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams and documentation, and publish semi-annually
• develop and submit a C2 Systems Administration Monthly Status Report

Qualifications

• 2+ years performing administrative maintenance while operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent organization
• DoD 8140 DCWF 451, Intermediate Level ; and
• NetApp Certified Storage Associate-Hybrid Cloud (NSCA-HC), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Data Center, or VMware Certified Associate (VCA), or Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA), or equivalent certification
• Active Secret clearance
