Qualifications

• Experience: 4–6 years in plan review or similar roles.
• Education: Two-year college program or equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications: Arizona Class D license on hire; ICC Residential Building/Electrical/Plumbing/Mech preferred; ICC Building/Fire Plans Examiner; NFPA 101 Plan Review within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Review complex building plans (electrical, plumbing, mechanical) for code compliance.
• Coordinate with staff, project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and public officials.
• Advise on code changes, interpretations and methods; maintain plan review records in the tracking system.
• Assist the development counter by answering technical questions and explaining City policies and codes.

This position will provide advanced plans review support. This is accomplished by preparing and completing plan reviews of complex buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical for compliance.
