Qualifications

• Professional Civil or Structural Engineer required.
• ICC Certified Plans Examiner with knowledge of International model building codes.
• Experience reviewing multiple building systems (architectural, accessibility, mechanical, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, calculations and specifications for compliance with codes.
• Prepare plans review comment letters per municipality direction and SCA standards.
• Meet and confer with clients to clarify plan check comments via phone, email, virtual meeting or in-person.
