Job summary

Envision Imaging seeks a PRN CT Technologist for our Plano, TX location. The CT Technologist performs cross-section CT examinations, positions patients and uses proper factors to provide quality images for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, state license (if applicable), CPR, and strong patient education and teamwork. This is a PRN as-needed position with a set pay range.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ CT experience preferred.
• Educate patients on procedures performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver and team player.
• Navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Exceed company and customer expectations.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patient to obtain medical history and explain procedures to obtain best image.
• Review patient charts for missing info and consent; screen for implants and allergies.
• Obtain prior films and perform high quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Care for patient before, during and after exam; notify changes in condition.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report quality issues or failures.
• Interact with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager on concerns.
