Job summary

Siemens in Plano, TX is seeking an Associate Project Manager to coordinate multiple projects of varying complexity, manage scheduling, resources, and subcontractor contracting. Responsibilities include cost reviews, project billing, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the project lifecycle.

You will work with Operations and Accounting to pursue change orders, track progress, and document all project events, while adhering to NFPA codes and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree.
• Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry.
• Knowledge of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and regulations.
• 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish project intent.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation requirements.
• Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
• Assist the Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors.
• Conduct orientations for project technicians and provide comprehensive project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, and project contacts.
