Job summary

BH Properties seeks an experienced Architect to join its in-house design and construction management team in Plano, TX. The architect will provide leadership across the company's commercial real estate portfolio, supporting acquisitions, leasing, and asset management, reporting to the Managing Director, Asset Management for the Texas portfolio.

The role requires a licensed Architect in Texas, 7–10 years of CRE experience, and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

Licensed Architect in Texas required.
7–10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably CRE.
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with tenant improvements, renovations, and redevelopment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

Provide architectural leadership for the portfolio, including existing properties and redevelopment projects.
Collaborate with Asset Management, Leasing, Construction, and Property Management to align objectives with design solutions.
Support acquisitions and due diligence by evaluating conditions and opportunities.
Lead projects from concept through construction, including design development, CDs, permitting, and construction administration.
Coordinate with consultants, jurisdictions, and agencies to obtain approvals and maintain schedules.
Review drawings for coordination, accuracy, and constructability.
Balance design quality with constructability, schedule, and budget.
