We are seeking a Summer Planning & Merchandising Intern to join our Time to Shine Internship Program at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX. This paid, hands-on program is designed for students who are eager to gain real-world experience in planning, merchandising, and retail business strategy while contributing to meaningful projects.
Throughout the program, you’ll gain exposure to product performance, assortment planning, inventory management, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration while learning how data and consumer insights influence business decisions.
Support Planning and Merchandising teams with product, sales, and inventory analysis
Distribute, allocate, and replenish product to stores to maximize sales and support inventory objectives
Assist with analyzing sales trends, product performance, and inventory levels
Monitor product availability and inventory levels across stores and identify opportunities to improve product flow
Generate and analyze reports, including style-selling and sell-through analysis, to support sales and inventory objectives
Analyze sales, inventory, and product performance to identify trends and opportunities
Assist with assortment planning, forecasting, and inventory management activities
Help prepare reports, presentations, and business recaps for cross-functional partners
Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams
Support seasonal planning processes and key business initiatives
Assist with special projects designed to improve product performance and inventory productivity
Partner with a dedicated mentor for professional guidance and development
Participate in workshops, lunch & learns, and panel discussions
Present a capstone project to Fossil leadership at the end of the program
Bring curiosity, analytical thinking, and fresh perspectives to team projects
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, graduating between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028
Excited to work in-person at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX (Mon–Thurs onsite, Fri remote)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Able to communicate insights clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Passionate about fashion, consumer products, retail, or merchandising
Curious, motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
