Job summary

Fossil Group in Richardson, TX is offering a Summer Graphic Design Intern position as part of the Time to Shine Internship Program. This paid 10-week internship provides hands-on experience in graphic design, visual storytelling, and brand collateral development.

You'll work with a Global Creative team, gain portfolio-ready projects, and receive mentorship from experienced Fossil Brand professionals. On-site Mon-Thu with some remote Fridays, in-person collaboration, and professional development

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
• Graduating between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Excited to work in-person at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX (Mon-Thurs onsite, Fri remote).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); familiarity with Figma is a plus.
• Strong typography, layout, color, and design fundamentals with attention to detail.
• Portfolio demonstrating graphic design work is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Global Creative on real-world graphic design projects for marketing campaigns and brand collateral.
• Assist with layout, typography, illustration, composition, color, and visual storytelling.
• Create presentations, decks, mood boards, and branded collateral.
• Develop digital and print assets across Fossil Group brands.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Brand, Merchandising, and cross-functional partners.
• Ensure creative work aligns with brand guidelines and visual identity.
• Research design trends to inform creative work.
• Participate in reviews and incorporate feedback from designers and stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain creative files and assets.
• Engage with a mentor for guidance and professional development.
• Attend workshops, lunch & learns, and panel discussions.
• Present a capstone project to Fossil leadership at program end.

About the Internship

We are seeking a Summer Graphic Design Intern to join our Time to Shine Internship Program at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX. This paid, hands-on program is designed for students who are eager to gain real-world creative experience while contributing to meaningful brand and marketing initiatives.

Throughout the program, you'll gain exposure to graphic design, visual storytelling, campaign development, digital content, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration-while building a professional portfolio through real-world projects.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Support the Global Creative team on real-world graphic design projects which will help you learn how to develop visual assets for marketing campaigns, digital channels, presentations, in-store assets and other Fossil brand collateral

• Assist with layout, typography, illustration or graphic development, composition, color, and visual storytelling

• Help create presentations, creative decks, mood boards, and branded collateral

• Support the development of digital and print assets across Fossil Group brands

• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Brand, Merchandising, and other cross-functional partners

• Learn how to ensure creative work aligns with established brand guidelines and visual identity

• Research emerging design, cultural, and visual trends to inform creative work

• Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback from designers and stakeholders

• Organize and maintain creative files and assets

• Partner with a dedicated mentor for creative guidance, feedback, and professional development

• Participate in workshops, lunch & learns, and panel discussions

• Present a capstone project to Fossil leadership at the end of the program

• Bring fresh ideas, creativity, and a strong visual point of view to collaborative projects

Who You Are (Requirements)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Design, or a related field, graduating between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028

• Excited to work in-person at Fossil Group HQ in Richardson, TX (Mon-Thurs onsite, Fri remote)

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, and design fundamentals

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Familiarity with figma is a plus

• Strong visual communication and presentation skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Able to receive and incorporate creative feedback

• Organized and comfortable working on multiple projects with varied deadlines

• Passionate about graphic design, visual culture, fashion, branding, and storytelling

• Portfolio required
