Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. invites motivated college students to join its internship programs in engineering, planning, sciences, or design practices.

You will work under a technical manager on real projects, gaining hands-on experience during a 40-hour week for 10–12 weeks from mid-May to the end of August. Open to rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students; entry-level with no required prior work experience.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
• Currently enrolled in a college Engineering, Planning, Geography, or Public Policy program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• MicroStation or AutoCAD skills desired but not required.
• GIS experience desired but not required.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of plans, documents, presentations, and figures.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting.
• Complete field surveys.
• Conduct entry level engineering, design or drafting.
• Prepare planning studies and coordinate conceptual plans with other design disciplines.
• Apply quality control procedures in alignment with ISO.
• Communicate with client(s) on a limited basis.
• Provide on-time delivery of project expectations with favorable feedback.
• Perform administrative or office management duties.

Education

Currently enrolled in a college Engineering, Planning, Geography, or Public Policy program

3.0 GPA or higher preferred
