Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. invites motivated college students to join as summer interns in Nashville. You will be embedded with engineers, planners, scientists, or construction managers, gaining exposure to real-world projects and daily tasks.

Interns work a 40-hour week for 10+ weeks, with mentoring and scheduled reviews. You will assist with plans, data analysis, field surveys, and drafting while learning ISO quality procedures and client communication.

Qualifications

This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
Currently enrolled in a college Engineering, Planning, Geography, or Public Policy program.
3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
MicroStation or AutoCAD skills desired but not required.
GIS experience desired but not required.
Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of plans, documents, presentations, and figures.
Conduct data analysis and reporting.
Complete field surveys.
Conduct entry level engineering, design or drafting.
Prepare planning studies and coordinate conceptual plans with other design disciplines.
Apply quality control procedures in alignment with ISO.
Communicate with client(s) on a limited basis.
Provide on-time delivery of project expectations with favorable feedback.
Perform administrative or office management duties.
